Terms of Service - NationTask

Welcome to NationTask. By accessing or using our mobile application (the "Application"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Application.

Note: NationTask is a service coordination platform that facilitates structured service requests and routes them to independent Service Professionals based on availability, service scope, and operational rules. NationTask does not provide services directly. NationTask is designed to reduce the friction, uncertainty, and coordination overhead traditionally associated with finding and managing service work. The platform emphasizes structured requests, verified professionals, and predictable workflows rather than open listings or competitive bidding.

1. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Application, you must register for an account. You agree to:

Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
Maintain the security of your password and accept all risks of unauthorized access.
Promptly update your information if it changes.

2. Service Provider ("Service Pro") Relationship

Service Pros are independent contractors and not employees, partners, or agents of NationTask. NationTask does not supervise, direct, or control a Service Pro’s work. Service Pros are responsible for providing their own tools and materials unless otherwise agreed with the Customer. NationTask defines standardized service categories, request flows, and platform rules to ensure consistency and reliability, but does not control how services are physically performed.

3. Payments and Fees

Cash on Site: Unless otherwise specified, all payments for services are to be made in cash directly from the Customer to the Service Pro upon completion of the confirmed service scope.
Platform Fees: NationTask may charge a platform fee for processing and managing service requests. This fee is clearly displayed before confirmation.
LAUNCH26 Promo: Use of the promo code LAUNCH26 waives the platform fee for eligible services during the promotional period.
Service Scope Confirmation: Some services require on-site validation. If the actual scope differs from the initial request, the Service Professional will confirm any changes with the Customer before work proceeds.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

Customers may cancel service requests via the Application. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the start time may result in a cancellation record on the user's profile. Since payments are made in cash on-site, refunds for completed work must be settled directly between the Customer and the Service Pro.

5. Real-Time Tracking and Safety

The Application provides real-time location tracking of Service Pros while they are "On The Way" to a job. This feature is provided for convenience and safety. Users agree not to misuse this data or use it for any purpose other than facilitating the scheduled service.

6. Prohibited Conduct

Users agree not to:

Provide false or misleading information.
Harass, threaten, or defraud other users.
Circumvent platform processes designed to ensure service quality, safety, and accountability.
Use the Application for any illegal purposes in Trinidad & Tobago or the Caribbean region.

7. Limitation of Liability

NationTask shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, resulting from your use of the Application or the services provided by Service Pros.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Trinidad & Tobago.

9. Updates to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page. Your continued use of the Application after changes are made constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
